Though rejected in my first submission to the Artery, David has finally found his way onto the gallery walls. L'achromatica, was a exhibition dedicated to art which explores not the use of colour but the lack of colour. All the works were black and white, achromatic.
The pieces ranged from pen and ink comic work, tissue paper sculptures, black and white photography, and print making. The second half of the gallery was bathed solely in black light, and the effect was stunning.
I was once again unable to get to the gallery opening because of work, and though this was the last exhibition of the semester I plan on being back come Winter 2013!
I am a first year student double majoring in Fine Arts as well as Environment and Resource Studies. I live on a family farm in the country. I love new socks, the first chill fall night when you break out your duvet, and racing deer on our country side road. Along with art I am passionate about my faith, investing in the people I love, all things nature, solid well planned pranks, and racing (cross country and triathlons).
