Last week my art and I were subjected to our portfolio review. The portfolio consisted of six required pieces completed in my Fine Arts class. I was disappointed earlier this semester that no previous works contributed to the portfolio, though now I understand the professors' desire to examine all portfolios on a level playing field.
Though I was unable to be at school the day of submission my dear big brother was kind enough to stumble through the labyrinth (East Campus Hall) and complete the drop off for me! My teacher was none-too-pleased when I told him I would not be able to submit my portfolio. But in the end, *cue dramatic music* thanks to the love and power of family, it all worked out :).
I am pleased to announce that I have passed the review and am welcomed to continue my Fine Arts studies! In fact, yesterday I declared my major (... basically just like this).
I am a first year student double majoring in Fine Arts as well as Environment and Resource Studies. I live on a family farm in the country. I love new socks, the first chill fall night when you break out your duvet, and racing deer on our country side road. Along with art I am passionate about my faith, investing in the people I love, all things nature, solid well planned pranks, and racing (cross country and triathlons).
